This Must be the Place for…
Sourdough Bread
Farm fresh sourdough bread is available for sale, by pre-order only and must be ordered 24 hours in advance. Options available are; Plain ($10/loaf) or Black Garlic ($12/loaf)
Produce
All produce at the farm is started by hand. We address pest/disease management by natural means of crop rotation, companion planting, soil amendments and physical-removal. Our goal is to cultivate a diverse ecosystem within our garden, supporting natural processes and producing as much food as we can - sustainably - to feed our families and our community. Produce is available for purchase at our farm stand all summer.
Eggs
The Farm chickens, ducks and geese grew up here as day-old chicks/ducklings/goslings. They enjoy snacking on garden veggies and greens. These girls produce mixed color eggs, available for purchase.
Honey
Honeybees - the masters of the garden - the pollinators - the honey producers. Acquiring honeybees was an integral part of working towards our goal of sustainability on the farm. The worker bees help pollinate our flowering plants, while producing honey for themselves and for our consumption as well. Honey is available for purchase at our farm stand.
Sustainable Hardwood Forest
The farm is home to a 2-acre sustainable hardwood forest. The trees are part of a Forest Management Plan with the New Jersey Forestry Service. Our forest is therefore protected, and our goal is to help it grow. Removing dead and diseased trees helps new growth prevail and healthy trees to thrive. The plan allows us to harvest wood, also working towards our goal of sustainability. Seasoned split wood is available for purchase all year round.
Christmas Trees
Within the decade we will have pick-your-own Christmas trees. In May of 2020, approximately 200 Christmas trees were planted at the farm. These seedlings will take 5-10 years to grow to full size, and once they do, they’ll be available to harvest and purchase.
The Farmstand
We welcome all friends, family, acquaintances and newcomers to stop by and check-out our farm-stand. The seasonal farm-stand is open to visitors for purchasing produce, eggs, honey and flowers. Hardwood, eggs and honey are available for sale all year. Please note we are a very small farm that focuses on growing produce, so the farm-stand is the only location open to the public.
Private tours may be arranged in advance.
